The Hang on Filter SI2000 is a cartridge filter for filtering pool water. It is important to take care of water hygiene in pools. And the physical part can be taken care with a cartridge filter. This filter is based on using a fiber based cartridge for filtering the pool water. It works by the pump moving the water through the cartridge walls from outside to inside. It can be used in small swimming pools and hot tubs. On top of physical filtering it is important to use chemicals in the water to keep bacteria and viruses under control.
Filter Cartridges
The filter cartridges need to be changed according to the need but at least once every season. The running age of the cartridges changes accordingly to the usage of the pool and quantity of dirt in the water. It makes sense to purchase a replacement cartridge at the same time as the actual filter. This way you can change the cartridge when it becomes dirty. Clean the old one and let it dry. This makes the cartridges last a bit longer and you can reuse them a few times.
