The Harvia WL100 Protective Bedding is designed to protect the floor beneath a wood-burning stove. Built from black-painted, aluminum-zinc-coated steel sheet, it provides durable and reliable protection in any sauna installation.

This protective base is especially important when the stove is installed on a surface such as a tiled floor with a water barrier treatment, or other materials that are not concrete or ceramic directly on concrete. The WL100 creates a safe barrier between the stove and the floor, ensuring long-lasting performance and peace of mind.

⚠️ Recommendation: We highly recommend using the WL100 protective bedding together with a Harvia Protective Sheath. While the sheath is a separate accessory, it significantly reduces the required safety distances to surrounding materials by up to half. One to three sheath elements can be added depending on your installation needs, making it easier to achieve a safe and compliant setup even in tighter spaces.

The WL100 protects the floor, while the Protective Sheath (sold separately) addresses side and wall clearances. Both are designed for use with Harvia wood-burning stoves, giving you flexibility and added confidence in your installation.
