The Harvia WL110 protective bedding is made of black-painted aluminium-zinc-coated steel. It is designed for wood-burning heaters with a water tank and other large wood-burning heaters, and must be used whenever the installation surface is anything other than a cement slab or ceramic tile laid directly on concrete.

⚠️ Recommendation: We recommend using the WL110 protective bedding together with a Harvia Protective Sheath. The sheath is a separate accessory that cuts safety distances by up to half, and 1–3 sheath elements can be added depending on your space.

The WL110 is compatible with all Harvia wood-burning Legend stoves.

Legend Protective Bedding

The Harvia WL110 Legend Protective Bedding is a key accessory for ensuring safe installation and reliable performance of your wood-burning Legend stove. Made from black-painted, aluminum-zinc-coated steel, it provides a durable and heat-resistant base that protects the floor beneath the stove. Its solid construction ensures lasting protection and peace of mind in your sauna environment.

The WL110 must always be used when the installation surface is something other than a cement slab or ceramic tile laid directly on concrete. This makes it particularly important when installing on sensitive or water-protected surfaces such as tiled floors with a water barrier.

⚠️ Recommendation: We highly recommend using the WL110 protective bedding together with a Harvia Legend Protective Sheath. While the sheath is a separate accessory, it significantly reduces the required safety distances to surrounding materials by up to half. One to three sheath elements can be added depending on your installation needs, making it easier to achieve a safe and compliant setup even in tighter spaces.

The WL110 protects the floor, while the Legend Protective Sheath (sold separately) addresses side and wall clearances. Both are designed for use with all Harvia wood-burning Legend stoves, giving you flexibility and added confidence in your installation.
